Master Password for 1Password5

I have 1Password3 which I can still open with my Master Password on my iMac. However, the same Master Password will not open my 1Password5 which I have installed with a new license. What's wrong?

    Hi @HowardE,

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with 1Password. It sounds to me like 1Password 5 might be looking at a different database than 1Password 3, however, I'll need just a bit more detail to sort this out:

    • How did you originally set up 1Password 5?
    • Is 1Password 5 on the same computer as your iMac?
    • Are you using Dropbox to sync your data to the cloud?

    Once we have a bit more detail on what you're seeing, and what your 1Password ecosystem looks like, we should be able to get this straightened out in no time. :)
