Master Password

I forgot my master password and have emailed for help. I was told to reload the app. When I did it still asked me for the original password.
Can someone help me figure out to fix this problem?

    I'm very sorry you forgot your Master Password. Unfortunately, there is not anything that can be done except to reset your data and start over. We have a guide to help you start over. In the future, you may want to record your Master Password in a 1Password Emergency Kit and keep that somewhere safe for reference.

    @musicgal‌ All we can hope is you didn't lose too much information and you didn't have too many passwords you needed to reset.

    I don't know what your usage tended to be like but one thing I've found is that by fully entrusting 1Password I need to access it every day and as a result the password is ingrained in my head.

    We do have a page on some tips that may help if you've forgotten a Master Password. There's nothing guaranteed of course but if there's a chance one of the suggestions regains access it has to be worth a shot.
