Turning black wheel and ' 1Password_Autosubmi...Actif' in menubar
I am using Safari 8 and 1Password 5.02 on an iMac 27inch.
After upgrading to OS 10.10 Yosemite I do get after some logins with 1Password a constant turning black wheel on the right side of the Menubar.
By clicking on the wheel one see ' 1Password_Autosubmi...Actif".
It is very annoying to have a constant turning wheel on my screen.
I tried to remove it but do not know how.
I can only remove the wheel by restarting my computer. But it come back after a few new logins.
How do I get rid of this annoying and useless symbol ?

Hi @nickel
I'm not sure how required the 1Password auto submit script is any more so here's what I'd suggest trying.
- Close all browsers and 1Password.
- Move the
~/Library/Application Scripts/2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper
folder to your Desktop - Reboot
If you have any problems you can always return it but I haven't run it for a while now and I'm not sure I've missed it.
Please do let us know if you have any problems.

Hi @nickel
Can you open up Terminal please (it's in
/Applications/Utilities/
) and try the following commandfind . -iname '1Password_Autosubmit.scpt'
and let us know what it returns.

Hi,
I used the command in Terminal and found the file.
I saw it was a hidden file. I could locate the file and moved the file to the desktop.
Rebooted and the black wheel was gone and did not come back.
The automatic login is even much faster now.
So problem solved.
Thank you very much for your help.0 -
