Lost my password - created new vault - sync problem across devices
I am a newbie that has managed to screw things up.
I purchased the 1PW5 app for the computer and IOS devices. I setup on my main mac desktop computer and created a crazy long password and then I did not record it down correctly and I can't get in. It installed a while back and did not have much data input yet so I was happy to create a new vault with a new password that I have written down now. I also installed from my App store purchase on my macbook air at the time of purchase and now I am trying to login and it still wants the old password. I removed the app and trashed the files and then I tried to just open the keychain file from dropbox and it still wants the old password.
Is there a way to get the macbook air to forget there was a copy on the app on it o I can re-install and pick up the new vault?

If you want to start over you need to follow exactly the procedure in this knowledge base article. Matters will be slightly more complicated by virtue of the fact you have a vault with data you need to save. How do you sync with your iOS devices and is the 1P data on those up to date?
