Sync to iOS but duplicate attachments

So I create a record in 1password that has an attachment in it. That all syncs just fine, as you would expect, to my iOS devices.
Then I update the attachment, (delete the old one and add a new one), but when I sync to my iOS devices, the record in those iOS devices inherits BOTH (the old & the new) attachment.
No matter what I do I do not seem to be able to delete the original (old) attachment from the iOS record

You really need to give us much information so that we can help you.

    1. What versions of 1P are you using on your Mac and on your iOS devices?
    2. What OS versions do you have on your Mac and on your iOS devices?
    3. Most importantly, what sync method are you using?

I actually suspect what you're seeing is a known bug but more information will help us to confirm that.

    I am running OS-X10.10 and iOS 8.02
I am running v5.0.2 on my Mac, and version 5.1.2 on my iOS devices
I am syncing using DropBox (I could use iCloud to sync if you are sure that wouls fix the problem)
I'd appreciate any pointers you can give me, as well as confirmation if this is a known bug or not, and if so the when you expect it to be fixed

    Hi @GouldN‌,

Thanks for taking the time to write to us

I just tested the scenario below using the latest betas of 1Password for Mac and iOS.

    1. Create a new item in 1Password for Mac and attach a file named "1.txt"
    2. Wait a few moments for the new item to appear in 1Password for iOS
    3. Removed the first attachment ("1.txt") and attached "2.txt" in 1Password for Mac.
    4. 1Password for iOS only "2.txt" appears in 1Password for iOS.

I also tested the same scenario using the latest stable versions for both 1Password for iOS and for Mac and I was able to re-create the problem. Both "1.txt" and "2.txt" appear in 1Password for iOS.

We recently fixed a ton of sync related fixes for the upcoming update and I can confirm that the bug you are describing has been fixed. Please make sure that you update both 1Password for Mac and for iOS as soon as they come out.

As far as when the new updates will be available I cannot tell you for sure, as there are other factors such as the App Store approval times that we cannot control.

Please let us know if there's anything else that we can do for you

    Cheers!

Many thanks for that - I will have to rely on the App Stores to push the updates to me then
