How to install 1Password across 2 Macs under 1 license for the same user.
Hi
Having downloaded a trial version off the Website, and bought the App from the App Store I am now set up on my iPhone and MacBook Pro with 1 Password and it is fully synching across iCloud,
If I want to now install 1Password on my second MacBook Air is this possible, without having to buy a second separate license?
Reading numerous references to this on Google it seems that you only need to buy 1Password once off the App Store to install it across multiple machines, However I haven't read any references as to **how **this is done. (apologies if I have missed this in my searches).
Is there a way to get a second copy of 1Password set up on my second laptop without going to the App store and being charged for it a second time?
Thanks
Gareth

You would download it from the Mac App Store to the second machine while signed in under the same Apple ID you used to purchase your copy for your first machine. As long as you are using the same Apple ID, you won't be charged again. Did I misunderstand your question?

You've understand my ramblings perfectly. I'll give it a go hawkmoth.

That did not work for me. I downloaded it on An additional device and was billed again. Cannot find help anywhere to get my money back. I am very disappointed that I cannot find a way to contact AgileBits for help.

@jondres you have posted on a thread without explaining your circumstances, which probably differ from those being discussed. Hawkmoth's advice in post #2 is correct so if you followed it you would not have been charged.
I think you're going to have explain:
- What "additional device" you downloaded 1P to (and what version of 1P you downloaded).
- Whether you downloaded it using the same Apple ID as the device you used when you bought 1P (and what was the version of 1P you bought from the Mac App Store in that original purchase).
Note I'm assuming you're talking about a download from the Mac App Store because that's what this thread is all about.

I'd add that refunds for purchases from Apple can only be handled by Apple. AgileBits wouldn't be able to help.

Both Stephen_C and hawkmoth are correct @jondres we're not involved in any step of the process of Apple's Mac App Store (MAS) whether it be purchasing or refunds.
As long as you download 1Password from the same place you purchased it you shouldn't be charged again. Once we have some more details we'll be in a better position to advise.
