Mac placement licensing issue

I unfortunately need to resend my licenses. The website returns that I purchased v3, v4, and the Mac + windows bundle. Unfortunately, two licenses are missing from my complete set when I ask the website to resend them.

I've also purchased v5, and the iOS version. I'm trying to get v5 back for other vaults since I switch constantly.

Thanks, Chris

Version 5 uses the very same license file that version 4 does. Just install it in version 5 the same way you did on version 4. There is no upgrade charge to upgrade from version 4 to version 5.

The same is true for iOS, but Apple keeps the records of those sales according to the Apple ID you used to purchase version 4. The iOS versions have never been sold anywhere except through Apple's App Store. If you log in to the iTunes App Store with the same Apple ID you used to purchase version 4, you can download version 5 and the Pro features should be automatically activated. That's true for all users' upgrades from version 4.

I hope hawkmoth's response got you sorted @cdubois‌

Not strictly true I think, that "the Pro features should be automatically activated". I believe it has to be done manually, but there is no charge.

    According to @hawwkmoth:

I was confused today when I was certain I should have received a "trial over" notice and found that I had a 1P5 license record in 1P—with an order date in 2013. Very freaky that 1P duplicated my existing 1P4 license record! Or did I do that myself and not remember? Anyway, this post explains why 1P continued working without a new license.

It worked automatically for me when I downloaded the iOS version 5 after upgrading to iOS 8. YMMV, I suppose. I do recall advice given here to restore in app purchases for users who didn't get things set up automatically, as I did.

@mrtoner - At least for me, when I installed version 5 on my Mac, it automatically created a record for itself in the software category that included the software license file as an attachment. I was surprised too.

It's true, some people did have problems but it was meant to automatically read your receipt for 1Password 4 for iOS and enable the Pro features which is what happened for many (including myself and hawkmoth).

In terms of licences I was informed recently that you can drag and drop applications directly from your Applications folder and it will fill in the name and version number for you (I'm still learning stuff every day!)
