Hello,

Your 'contact us' brings me nowhere but to a forum... SO, here we go!
I work for Apple, we all got licenses for 1Password on Mac and on iOS.
Curious if you can help me figure out what that license is so I can share with family members (up to 6 right?)
If you'd like my Apple corp email, let me know and I can provide it in a private pm.
Thanks!

i don't know anything about how Apple provides access to software for its employees, but is the license tied to your Apple ID, as it is for everyone who buys software from one of the two App Stores? If it is, then 1Password for OS X is eligible for family sharing. That should take care of your family on that side, if you've set up a Family Sharing group for them. For iOS, I'm sure you are aware that the basic application is free and that there is an in app purchase required to unlock the advanced Pro features. Your company chose not to make in app purchases available under Family Sharing, so everyone with a separate Apple ID has to buy those individually.

Somehow I get the feeling that I've missed the point of your question. I would assume that Apple employees would know that licensing issues for software obtained through the App Stores are controlled solely by Apple, and not the developer.

We have a back-of-house system used for Apple associates to get unique serial codes from developers/software companies/merchants, outside of the App Store. I cannot remember how mine was acquired years back - I'll go back to the source. Thanks for trying!

Hi @oliver71096‌ I haven't dealt with an Apple employee before but this system you have, if it simply allows you to download a program with your Apple ID then I can't see any reason why standard Family Sharing shouldn't work unless Apple have designed it that way.

I assume the codes are to test software?
