Reload a keychain (Dropbox)
I've been using 1Password since July on a couple of my Macs and iOS devices. Running Mountain Lion, Mavericks, and iOS 8, never had an issue with the keychain stored in my Dropbox.
This week I have another iMac I brought online with Yosemite. I loaded up the keychain from my Dropbox folder, and it lets me in with my password, but there's nothing in there. I should mention that this is with 1Password 5, while I'm running 4 on all the other Macs.
I checked my 1Password on my iPad (don't have access to the other Macs at the moment) and all my logins are in there.
How can I reload the keychain on 1Password 5 on this Yosemite iMac, or what else can I do to get my keychain working right?
I'll look forward to any and all assistance you can provide.
Thanks!

Hi @wukovits
If you all your other devices are still syncing successfully with Dropbox my gut feeling is you have more then one .agilekeychain in your Dropbox. A simple search from Dropbox's website on even the word agile will bring up all .agilekeychains present.
If you do indeed only have a single .agilekeychain then yeah, something doesn't sound right at all. Thankfully if you're running only 1Password 4 and 5 then the .agilekeychain is only your sync data and your vaults on each device are safe.
Working on the assumption that you still don't have access to your other Macs here's what I suggest.
- Disable Dropbox sync on your iPad. You can do this in 1Password > Settings > Sync > Sync Service > Disable Sync (see image below). It might look a little different for you as you're on an iPad and the screenshot is from my iPhone
- On your new iMac remove the .agilekeychain that isn't loading and give this change a chance to sync.
- Back on your iPad set up Dropbox syncing, here's our iOS guide for Sync with Dropbox. This will create a new Dropbox .agilekeychain.
- Back on your new iMac. You will need to set up Dropbox syncing again, in fact you should get a little warning that something has gone wrong and offer you a fix button which will take you to the Sync tab in 1Password's preferences.
This warning will appear on all your other machines and devices when you next gain access to them, you'll have to set up Dropbox syncing again on each as they don't like it when your .agilekeychain disappears. As a sanity check, create a test item and make sure it appears on all devices.
If you have any troubles let us know.

OK, I disabled Dropbox sync on my iPad. I verified that I could still access my 1Password logins on the iPad.
I then went and I closed out 1Password on the 2nd iMac and deleted the keychain file from Dropbox on my 2nd iMac.
Once gone, I went to try and reestablish sync on my iPad. It sees the keychain file but when it tries to connect, I get this:
"1Password will no longer sync because no sync source was found for profile."
"1Password encountered a problem."
Help.

Hi @wukovits
So just to clarify, You disabled sync, removed the .agilekeychain but when you went to re-enable sync on your iPad you found another .agilekeychain?
It might be worth checking your Dropbox storage for additional .agilekeychains. Unless you know you're syncing multiple vaults then there should have been zero .agilekeychains after the removal. My suggestion would be to follow the steps again but when you remove the .agilekeychain, check to make sure there are none in your Dropbox space at all. The easiest way I can think of to do that would be to use the search function from within the Dropbox website, even searching on just the word agile is enough to show you all .agilkeychains.
If that still doesn't result in any joy it might be best if we ask you for a couple of diagnostic reports.
I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices.
—Mac—
https://guides.agilebits.com/kb/1password4/en/topic/diagnostics-report#mac4—iOS—
https://guides.agilebits.com/kb/1password4/en/topic/diagnostics-report#ios4Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com
Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
Once you've sent the Report a post here with the ticket ID will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
