If you have a license for your Mac, your wife can use that same license on hers for no extra charge. The single user license now extends to up to six family members. Since you refer to a single user license, I am assuming your bought your license from the AgileBits web store. Just apply the same license file you used on your Mac to the installation on hers. You may also upgrade to version 5 for free, if you are running OS X 10.10 (Yosemite). Things are somewhat different if your license was purchased from the Mac App Store, so if that applies to you, post back and we can describe how that would work too.
For the iPad, you will have to buy from the iTunes App Store, just as you would any other iOS application. The basic version is free to download and use. There is an in-app purchase available to active advanced Pro features. You only refer to one iPad, but if you have more than one iOS device, the Pro features would have to be purchased separately for each Apple ID used to make the purchase. If you and your wife share the same Apple ID for that purpose, one charge for activating the Pro features would apply to all installations under that same Apple ID.

FANTASTIC! However, I went to App Store and Apparently RE-PURCHASED 1Password for $45 (or something) even though I HAVE a License! Did not see any other way to get it, since I am on NEW Mac, & Other One being Repaired at local Apple Store. SO - Is there any way to "Change Product Key" and NOT be Charged?

You'll have to take that up with Apple. If you logged in to the Mac App Store with the same Apple ID as you used for your original purchase, you should have seen it under the Purchased tab, where there is a Download button.

Hi @Brian Maday
I've checked our records and you purchased 1Password 5 from us.
Unfortunately, we can't process refunds ourselves for items sold on Apple's App Store. Apple maintains all control over transactions including refunds. You'll have to request the refund from them.
You can request a refund for any app on the App Store by following this process:
- Visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign In with your Apple ID.
- Click “Report a Problem” on the offending app.
- Choose “Problem is not listed here” and be sure to mention that you are asking for a refund because it doesn’t work as expected.
That said, if Apple refuses the refund (which they really shouldn't be) we can work with you on that.
What you want to do is download 1Password from our AgileBits Download page. If you don't have your licence file as it's on the Mac being repaired then you can still request the licence file to be resent to you from our AgileBits Support page.
If you need further assistance do please let us know.
