Previous versions of 1Password still installed
I was using 1Password version 3, then upgraded to version 4. I notice that version 3 is still installed. Further, when creating backups, 1P sometimes puts the backup in ~/Library/Application Support/1Password/Backups and sometimes in ~/Library/Application Support/1Password 4/Backups.
Can I just delete version 3 and consolidate the backups?

Hi @jasimon9
Rather than backups being intermittently being stored in the two locations I suspect it is more likely that both versions are creating new backups at the moment. The extension, the final part of the filename will be the giveaway as the backups use different naming conventions.
Here's a link to our Completely Uninstalling 1Password page which refers to 1Password 3. That alone should be sufficient to sort everything out. The page covers both the automated version of uninstalling 1Password 3 as well as how to do so manually if needed.
If you have any questions after reading that please do ask
