Trial Expired

I currently have version 5.0.2 of 1Password5 and have just got the "Trial Expired" Notification on my MacPro (running Yoesmite). I have been using 1Password for some considerable time - certainly version 4 if not version 3 - and have never had this message before, so what I originally paid for or when is lost in the mists of time. Currently many of my entries have April17th, 2014 as the creation date so maybe that has some significance - incidentally I have always kept the software up to date. Futhermore, your website does not recognise any of the emails I may have used to purchase the original copy of this software and consequently won't let me contact you privately, hence I've had to join the Blog. What I would like to know is why this message has suddenly appeared (because I have certainly had version 5 for longer than 30 days and version 4 for over a year) and what can I do about it - I don't fancy having to pay a further €50 for something I have used for so long so successfully.

There was a bug in version 4 that worked to a user's advantage, but is now causing some confusion.

For some users a trial version of 1PW4 never showed the expiry notice, so it could be used without any payment.

If you only paid for 1PW3, you should not grudge paying for an upgrade to 1PW5. (and there will be a discounted upgrade price) If you did pay for 1PW4, the upgrade to 1PW5 is free, but you will need to prove to Agile that you made a purchase.

Thanks for your help. I've done a bit more research with "Time Machine" backups and found the first reference to 1Password was in April last year with version 4.4. so apologies for the misdirection over how long I had the software! I've also searched my own files and can find no reference around that time for a payment matching the licence fee. So it looks like I have had an extended trial period and will now go ahead and buy the licence! Thanks again
