Are you by any chance using the OS X 10.10.2 beta? If so, it's a known bug in the OS X beta. AgileBits has a fix for the problem in the latest beta of 1P5.1. However, if you're using the Mac App Store version of 1P5 be careful if you're thinking of trying the 1P5.1 beta: it's slightly complex.

Hi @goosie74,
As @Stephen_C mentioned, we're aware of an issue with 10.10.2 betas with 1Password. However, the latest betas of 1Password 5.1 should fix the issue, and the latest betas of 10.10.2 should also fix the issue even with current stable builds of 1Password. If you're not running 10.10.2, you may be running into another issue that we're not aware of. Could you tell us which version of OS X you're using?
Thanks
Rick

Having exactly the same issue with latest build 5.0.2 running 10.10.2. Highly frustrating. Only able to scroll using keyboard. Please advise.

The advice is exactly as in the post preceding yours. The issue is fixed in the latest betas of 1P5.1 for Mac (which you probably wouldn't wish to run if you're using the Mac App Store version of 1P). People are hoping that the issue may also be fixed in the final release version of OS X 10.10.2.
I believe the temporary work around is to go to OS X System Preferences > General and set Show scroll bars to Always.

Hi @freshive
Stephen_C's post has the only current workaround although I would also note rickfillion's post on this too. This can be the downside to testing betas so if there isn't a specific reason we'd normally recommend sticking to the stable versions of pretty much everything.

Hi @bsma,
I merged your discussion with the one from Stephen's link, since they're about the same issue.
Did the official release version of 10.10.2 solve the problem for you, or is scrolling still an issue? I haven't been able to test it myself yet. If you get the chance to let us know, we'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Apologies for delayed response - I'm on 10.10.2 official (not beta) and am still experiencing the same issue. I've also updated to 5.1 and no luck.

Hi @freshive,
Hrmmmm.... that's no fun. We have a workaround from our side for this issue, but it's not part of 5.1 yet. Currently the only way is test our workaround is to use the 5.3 betas. Are you using the AgileBits Store version of 1Password? If so, could you enable beta updates under Preferences > Updates, and test to see if you're experiencing the problem with the latest 5.3 beta?
Can you confirm that you're using a standard apple trackpad, and that the item list is the only part of the app that you're having issues with scrolling with?
Thanks
Rick
