Mavericks & 1P4 with iPad IOS8 and 1P5?

Hi
New here/ I am trialling iP4 on Mavericks. I also have an iPad Air 2, am I OK to download 1P5 for iPad and use dropbox sync between the 2, or do I need to be on Yosemite and 1P5 there as well?

    If you want to use iCloud for syncing between your Mac and iOS devices, you will need to be on Yosemite and version 5. And you will have to have a full license purchased directly from Apple. But you'll be fine if you use Dropbox for syncing.

    Since the only trial version of 1Password is from the AgileBits web site, you won't be able to use iCloud during your trial in any case. Apple has closed off iCloud syncing to the AgileBits version and only permits it if the user bought from the Mac App Store. There are no trial versions from Apple.

    Thanks so much for giving 1Password a try! As Hawkmoth says above, Dropbox sync should work just fine between 1Password 5 for iOS and 1Password 4 for Mac. :) If you have any further questions or concerns, please let me know - we're here to help.
