Use the technique of MacID
I just tried the App MacID that lets one use the TouchID to log into the Mac or put in the Password if you want to change settings on the Mac. This is actually nice but would be much more efficient if would work like 1Password. I think it would be a great idea if 1Password would use this technique and make it better. Just let us use our TouchID's to log onto the Mac and also let us use the TouchID to enter passwords when using Safari on the Mac.
An alternative could be that it would be possible to use an USB finger print reader with 1Password on the Mac.

It's a request that has been made a couple of times and I'll happily add your vote to such a feature. Certainly I can see why the idea would be considered very cool but I'd guess we have to be careful to make sure the user isn't given too much of an opportunity to forget their Master Password as the TouchID works on top of that and isn't a replacement.

littlebobbytables,
I too would LOVE this feature. Since 1Password holds important information, I, as I am sure other members have as well, memorized a longer password containing letters, numbers and characters. It's a bit of a "hassle" entering this password each time to enter the 1Password interface.
I have been using MacID to unlock my MacBook Pro, and it is awesome! The feature is so convenient! I'd love to see 1Password have this feature.
Also, not sure if this is possible, but if 1Password could connect to an apple keyboard so that the user would select your keyboard (Like the emoji option) and simple place our thumb on the fingerprint reader to enter our username / password. That would be convenient as well.
Thanks guys!

Consider your vote added to the feature. There's a lot of fun stuff that could be done there. :)

Hi @macdoctor,
I've added your voice to the request  I don't have any update I'm afraid but each vote counts.
