1Password mini keeps asking me to install Chrome Extension

    One thing I notice is that no matter how often I install/remove/reinstall the Chrome plugin, beta or stable, 1Password mini keeps showing me this:

    1Pwd 5.1 beta 34, OS X 10.10.1

    Hi @Bonobo‌

    Your issue seemed quite unrelated to the thread you posted in so I've split it off.

    My suspicion is you have some sort of anti-virus or firewall installed. Anything that can block web sockets could interfere with 1Password mini being able to communicate with the 1Password browser extension and if they can't communicate 1Password mini would suggest adding the extension again. Is that a possibility? If it is our page on Configuring a firewall or proxy server might be of use to you.

    If it isn't please do let us know so we can continue the troubleshooting process.
