Purchased but can't find license & it says my trail period has expired. Unable to contact anyone.

I purchased 1 Password (1Password 5 Version 5.1 (510035) Agile Web Store) over a year ago. I now get a message saying my "trail period" has expired. Is this product a subscription that I have to renew every year? I do not remember where I purchased it. I am unable to find my license and there is no "Account" at Angilebits to check. Angilebits does not have any record of my email address to retrieve my license, the Apple App store does not list it nor does iTunes. I don't know where to go to get help. I am unable to contact the company and there is no previous discussion that helps.

    Your message confuses me. You say you purchased from AgileBits in one place and then later say you don't know where you purchased it.

    You have done what you should to contact AgileBits support. While you await their response, have a look at the top post in this section of the forum to see whether there is help for your particular case of getting an expired notice. Here is the link to that post.

    Did the link that hawkmoth gave you help solve the problem? If you haven't done so yet, please make sure you take a look at that post, as it will most likely help to explain the situation.

    It sounds like you currently have the Agile Web Store version of 1Password 5 installed on your Mac. I wasn't able to find license information for the email address associated with your forum account, so it doesn't look like you bought a license from our web store - unless you made a purchase under another email address? If so, please send me a private message to let me know that email address and I'll be happy to search for it in our system.

    Or is it possible you bought 1Password from the Mac App Store? If so, you'll need to reinstall the Mac App Store version, which would be associated with your Apple ID and won't require you to activate it with a license file. Simple launch the Mac App Store, make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to make the purchase, and reinstall 1Password from the Purchases section.
