    Hi @sergioochoa‌

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble here! Could you give us a bit more detail here? In particular, I'll need to know the version number of 1Password that you're using, as well as the version number of your operating system. Are you seeing a specific error message when you try to open 1Password? If so, please provide the exact wording in the error message. You can take a screenshot if that's easier. To include it in your reply, simply click the document button in the top of the comment field, and select the file you wish to share:

    Hi @sergioochoa‌

Have you tried a reboot of your Mac? You'd be amazed what kinks that can iron out sometimes and I know Macs tend to run so well we don't reboot them very often (mostly just to apply certain system updates).

    Hi @sergioochoa,

I'm sorry to hear restarting didn't fix the issue.

Next, could you please try re-installing the app:

    • Open your Applications folder
    • Locate the 1Password 4.app in the list
    • Drag it to the trash can.

      • Please don't use any uninstaller applications, these may remove more than just the application, such as your data. We do not recommend that. We only want to remove the application, none of the extra items.
    • After dragging it to the trash, please empty your trash, then restart your computer.

    • After the reboot, please download a fresh copy of 1Password 4 from here: https://agilebits.com/downloads#legacy_versions

      • Version 4 is under the Legacy section near the bottom.
    • Once downloaded, unzip if necessary and drag it to the Applications folder. Then double click to run it.

Please let us know if that helps. :)

    Hi @sergioochoa,

I'm sorry to hear you're still having troubles! At this point, I think what makes the most sense is for you to create a Diagnostics Report from your Mac (you can ignore the part about filling in the code in the subject line). This will give us a better picture of what's going on with your 1Password setup.

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

A short note here once you've sent the Report in will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
