I have purchased 1Password5 for my MacBook Pro on July 8, 2014; I received the "Your 30-day Trial" message on my Mac; I can't open 1PW5 with my Master Password; The only way I can open 1PW5 is with my husband's Master Password; I can't add the license I have on my MacBook Pro; What do I do to get 1PW5 to let me open with my Master Password and how do I get to upgrade using my license?

    Hi @wapitt

You have two very separate issues there. Even if your trial has come to an end we would never deny you access to your vault for one very simple reason, the information we ask you to entrust is so important to blackmail you would be a truly awful thing to do and we simply aren't like that. We may make the vault read only at the end of the trial but you can always access and use the items you have stored. So if you're having trouble unlocking your vault with your Master Password it isn't related to this. Here's a link to our page on Help! I forgot my Master Password which includes a link itself to another page titled, Master Password not accepted.

On the unrelated note of the licensing. In 1Password 5 we use a licence file which you add. Here's our guide on this, Adding a license to 1Password including how to get your licences resent if needed.

If you have any follow up questions, or you're still struggling please do let us know.
