Confused about sync between Mac and iPhone
Hi
I have purchased 1Password 5 for Mac (not the App Store, but direct from your website) and I also have downloaded the free (not Pro features yet) for my iPhone.
Do I need the in app purchase of the iPhone version to enable sync between the 2 using iCloud? I have read details about the 2 but am confused about the differences in the Mac App.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @deh83,
No, you don't need to purchase the Pro Features in 1Password 5 for iOS in order to sync via iCloud. However, you do need the Mac App Store version of 1Password 5 for Mac in order to use iCloud sync, as we are no longer able to include that feature in our web store version. We have more information about that in our Web store and iCloud FAQ.
But don't worry, you have a couple options here! If you purchased 1Password for Mac from our web store within the last 30 days, we can give you a refund, and you can purchase it from the Mac App Store in order to use iCloud sync. Or, if you stick with the web store version, you can use Dropbox or Wi-Fi sync:
I'm sorry for the confusion about that! If you have more questions or need help with any of that, please let us know.

Hi
Thank you for your fast reply. I'll be following the instructions to sync with Dropbox (as I already use it) and can benefit on my Windows PC too.
I'm swapping from having used Keeper so I'm looking forward to your clean interface and extensions of 1Password.
