Can't download license file
I sent in my request for our license ID. We received it with the following instructions:
Key: [licence key deleted]
Download: https://agilebits.com/downloads
Register:
Select Help > Enter License Key…, and enter the above key.
But there is not a "help" to select or a place to enter the license key. We have a PC and Mac (husband and wife) I think we should be able to use the same key from the description.

@kgile I have deleted the licence key as it's probably personal to you and you don't want others using it.
1P3 uses a licence key (like the one you gave). 1P4/1P5 use a licence file. What version of 1P are you using on your Mac, please? Note that the upgrade from 1P3 to 1P4/1P5 was not free—you will have had to pay for it.
Note also that 1P for Mac and 1P for Windows are completely separate products so if you need both you have to buy both (although AgileBits does sell a Windows/Mac licence bundle).

Thanks, How do I know what I have and what I need to buy? I can't tell from the license key... My password one is looking for a file to upload. So I'm guessing I have the newest version. The key I have gives me instructions to download a file but I can't find where to download it from the web site? I just need to know what to do to move forward.

You can learn the version number of 1Password from the 1Password > About 1Password menu. It does sound like you have been using 1Password 4 or 1Password 5 (as the license file is unique to those versions.) I took a quick look in our back office records but was unable to locate any license information using the email address attached to your forum account, so I'm guessing you used a different email address for your purchase of 1Password 3. If you send me your name and email address via private message (or the 1Password 3 license key will work as well), I'd be happy to track down your license details and ensure that everything is correct there.
As Stephen_C says, the upgrade from 1Password 3 to 1Password 4 was a paid upgrade. We did have a bug in 1Password 4 where some users were not properly prompted to add their license details, so it's possible that you have been using the trial version for an extended period of time, or that you did upgrade but never applied the license file.
To move forward, if you don't have a license for 1Password 4/5 (the update from version 4 to version 5 was free, so there's only one upgrade needed here!) I'd recommend picking up a license. As a 1Password 3 owner, you get a nice discount on a new license. Just enter your details here on our upgrade page before purchasing.
