I have upgraded to 1Password 5 (and the main app works fine). I have tried Help->Troubleshooting->Restart 1Password mini but that doesn't seem to help. How can I inform the Chrome extension that I have a license?

    Hi @pnklein,

I'm sorry for any confusion about the Trial Expired message you're seeing. We have information about that in this post.

If you have a license for the web store version of 1Password 5 for Mac, you simply need to add your license file to the main app. A link to download the license file would have been in the email you received from us when you made your purchase from our web store. Or if you can't find that, you can go to our support site https://agilebits.com/support and follow the steps in the "I've lost my license" section at the top.

On the other hand, if you purchased 1Password from the Mac App Store, it sounds like you accidentally installed the web store version instead. In that case, you can launch the Mac App Store and re-download 1Password 5 from the Purchases section.

I hope this helps, but please let us know if you're still having a problem with that.

My apologies for the confusion. I had failed to download the license file (the link in the email hadn't worked). Now working.

No need to apologize @pnklein, I'm just glad I could help, and happy to hear it's working now! If you need anything else, just let us know - we're here for you! :)
