Teach 1Password a custom set of fields?
I'm trying to teach 1Password to save my login information for FSAFeds (https://www.fsafeds.com/fsafeds/login/participantlogin.asp), which has THREE fields to remember: "Last Name", "UserID", and "Password". It remembers the password just fine, but I don't see a way to show it that I also want it to remember the last name and user ID so I can log in with just two keystrokes. Is there a way for me to customize the login entry for 1Password to allow this?

There is a procedure for re-creating and saving a login manually which will probably help you.

I was hopeful that guide would be my salvation, but sadly it gave me the same saved information as the autogenerated login. :-/

Bother! I tried to create a login on that site with made-up credentials to try to work out what it's doing. If I click on show web form details in 1P I find that:
- The UserID field from the site has been changed to "particpant".
- The Password field has been changed to "pin".
I'm just wondering whether, if you edit those web form details in 1P to correspond with the prompts on the site, you might get the login to work. (If you edit the login in 1P you can change the names of the web form fields.)

Hi @Batshua,
This seems to work correctly for me: I saved one Login item when I entered text in those fields and tried to sign in (1Password prompted me to save a new Login), and I also manually saved a new Login. Both Logins correctly saved information for all 3 fields (the User ID shows up in the web form details in 1Password), and both worked to fill all three fields on the site. So I haven't been able to reproduce the issue.
In case it makes a difference, I used Chrome to save the Logins. Can you please let us know which browser (and version) you're using? Also, which version of the 1Password extension is installed in your browser, and which version of the 1Password app are you using?

Not a problem at all, @Stephen_C!
I just tried this in Firefox (35.0.1) and Safari (8.0.3) with the 4.3.0.b9 extension, and the Login for that site was created correctly from each.
@Batshua, if you're not already using the beta version of the 1Password extension, you can try installing that to see if it helps:
- Open the following link in your browser: https://agilebits.com/onepassword/extensions
- Click the link for Enable betas (underneath the Install button)
- Click the big green Install button and follow any additional steps
Once you do that, try again to manually save a new Login for that site. Is the new Login saved correctly?

WHAT IS THIS SORCERY?!
All I had to do was install the beta plugin (Chrome, 'cause I'm running Chromium) and it just works, even though the form up top doesn't list all three fields!

LOL, it often seems like magic to me too, @Batshua! ;)
I'm glad the beta extension solved the problem for you. When you view Login items in 1Password, you'll only see the "username" and "password" fields at the top, but other details from the login form (such as the additional field used on that FSAFEDS site) are also saved, and you can see them by clicking the show web form details button.
Hopefully you're all set now, but if you need more help, we're here for you!
