Changing from iCloud back to Drop Box

For various reasons I need to return to Drop Box from iCloud for synching. However, when I switch to Drop Box it asks me "where is the data file". I don't think I can see the data file from iCloud. I tried restoring from back up, but that does not help with the sync settings.

    Remember that your data are stored locally, on your own hard drive. You can just go to the Preferences and turn off iCloud syncing in that part of preferences. You'll be asked if you want to delete your data on iCloud; you can safely answer Yes. Then turn on Dropbox syncing. When you do that, your encrypted data will be copied to your local Dropbox folder, and from there, it will be synced to Dropbox.

    You will need to have the Dropbox application installed on your Mac to use Dropbox for 1Password syncing.

    Hi @nds,

    Thanks for writing in. @hawkmoth's answer is right on the money. You should be able to just point the vault's sync settings to the dropbox folder and it'll create the agilekeychain for you.
