    Hi @leoborec,

Just to confirm, you're saying that each time you reboot your Mac you have to set up syncing all over again but only after a reboot?

My first hunch would be a serious issue regarding permissions in your user account, it's the only reason I can think of right now that would cause this. Do you find it happens with any other application and have you had to do anything to the 1Password support folder recently? By that I mean restore from a backup, copied from another machine or altered manually for any reason?

Something worth trying would be to start over after we've created a fresh backup.

    1. Enter 1Password's preferences and switching to the Backup tab.
    2. Click on the Backup Now button. This is the safety net should anything go awry.
    3. Follow our Starting Over, your Desktop is a good place to use as the temporary location.
    4. 1Password should locate your Sync data if you are using Dropbox or iCloud. If you're not then the Backup you created in step 2. will be in the support folders that you moved in step 3.

Having forced the creation of a new set of preferences and folders does 1Password behave any better?

Let us know how you get along.

Solved. Create backup and then completely uninstall/ install.

  • That's great to hear @leoborec. If you run into this again, please do let us know.
