Improvement: Handling of multiple logins under one domain
I have several applications (each requiring an individual password) under one domain:
- Application 1: http://mysite.com/application1
- Application 2: http://mysite.com/application2
- Application 3: http://mysite.com/application3
The credentials for each application is listed in 1Password, each with the domain name and path correctly set in the account's "Website" field. But when I try to login into "Application 3", "Application 1" is always pre-selected in the 1Password browser plug-in, because of the alphabetical order. Even if the path doesn't match.
Can you please change the sorting order to match the path in the "Website" field first in this case and applying the alphabetical sorting afterwards?

Actually, I have a similar situation; 3 seperate accounts at the same bank, each with its own unique name ( A Bank, B Bank, C Bank , for example ) and each with its own unique login and password but all with the same URL. Safari Mini does not handel it well as it keys on the name in alpha order - so you get A Bank and in fine print "and two others" when you really want C Bank so you select "and two others" and select the one you want ---
OR dont use 1Browser or Mini but go thru the login catagorie and select the one I want.inconvenient,

Hi @~,
In 1Password's preferences, what is the state of the following option? Browser tab : Lenient URL matching. If it is ticked does the behaviour improve if you disable it?

@littlebobbytables It's not checked.

Hi @lasllcap,
I'm a little surprised by what you're seeing. We definitely have that Show X more Logins behaviour but as long as the URLs all match up I've seen 1Password mini display 10 or more without needing that additional click.
Are you positive that all of them share the exact same URL? It might be worth copying the URL from Login A and edit the others, pasting over what is present. Does that make any difference?

thanks bob
i will give it a try . i will check the URL but prior to 1PW I used the same URL (same page for one bank) and filled in login for whichever account i needed, which is how I set it up in 1PW, named it A, B, or C and filled in unique login data.
Anyway I will check and report back.
Thanks for your time, R0 -
Hi @~,
I've done a little more digging and it seems we can't match on the full URL as you're wanting. What I've done is I've added your original post as a vote to the existing ticket. I assume if we can't do it at the moment then it's likely you want to see it added.

LBT - well, your first inclination was spot on (post 5); it seems that Chrome and Safari handle the banks login URL a bit differently, both get the job done, but 1PW sees it differently, as it should. The general login page, displayed by Safari ( A account) and copied to B, and C took care of everything. If I am smart enough to click on the account name I need to open the proper one opens; If I am working with Mini, all three are listed to choose from (as you noted in #5).
thanks for you time and attention, R0 -
@littlebobbytables Great, thanks. I'd really love to see this added in a future release.
