Password expiration reminders

My company has a 60-day expiration for pws due to HIPAA compliance restrictions. Is there any way that I can set 1Password to remind me to change pw before it expires?

Hi jlynch3sf,

1Password doesn't have an option to set up reminders, or to specify an expiration date for a password. My best suggestion for a reminder would be to set something up in an app such as Calendar or Reminders.

As for the 60-day expiration, it might help to set up a Smart Folder in the main 1Password app (File > New Smart Folder). For example, you could set that folder to search for Logins where the Last password change (day ago) is greater than or equal to 55. That Smart Folder would show you Logins with passwords that haven't been changed in at least 55 days (which would give a 5-day window to change them before they expire). You could tweak that a bit to better suit your needs. Again, this wouldn't be an actual reminder/notification, but might be helpful.
