Hiding Old Logins? Best practice?
Hi all, I'm trying to figure out the best way for 1password to keep track of old accounts and logins, but have them mostly hidden unless I really want to specifically search for them. Here's an example. I recently cancelled a credit card, and the bank has canceled my login access. However I want to remember the credit card number, and the login name for reference. I've had problems in the past with companies not allowing me to re-open an account with a new username because my email is tied to an old, expired username.
So I know I can set things to "never display in browser", or I can tag them with "OLD", but they still show up in general searches in the 1password search listings.
I could move them to a separate db file, but I'd rather not have to deal with multiple files across multiple IOS and Mac devices.
Any better ways to do this? Cheers!

Some people create a secondary "archive" vault for the purpose you mention. See this knowledge base article on multiple vaults. One advantage of doing that is you can't currently search across vaults so items stored in that vault will not be visible when you search your primary vault.

Hi @petro,
Stephen's suggestion to create a secondary vault for your "old" items is probably your best option if you don't want those items to show up when you search your Primary vault in the main app. Alternately, setting items to "never display in browser" will prevent them from showing up in the 1Password extension or 1Password mini, but they'll still appear in the main app (as you already know).
Syncing secondary vaults between Macs and iOS devices is actually pretty simple, especially if you use Dropbox sync. If you need help with any of that, please let us know. Thanks!
