Master pasword every time you open the browser plugin

Hello, I searched on this topic but only could find a related issue for iOS, not for mac:

Do I need to give my master pasword each time I open the browser plugin?

Every hour or after login is fine by me... I like my paswords to be safe but I'm not paranoid:)

    No. Please review your settings under 1P > Preferences > Security, under Auto-lock. (I'm assuming you're using 1P4 or 1P5.)

    Hi @funx,

    If nothing obvious stands out when you follow Stephen_C's suggestion please do let us know how you have your Auto-lock settings configured, hopefully we can determine what the cause is.

    As hinted by Stephen_C, the version of 1Password and the extension that you're running may be important too. Those will be two different version numbers so both could be helpful in understand what is happening.
