I have a ver 3.8.22 desktop family license along with a 5.2.1 license for my iPad and iPhone. I have four desktop Macs, each running Yosemite. All Apple mobile devices run iOS 8.x.x. Do I need a separate license for each of my home desktops? I couldn't fine an answer anywhere on the agilebits website or in the forums. Thank you.

If you download 1P5 from the Mac App Store you can install on any machine that uses the same Apple ID or in respect of which you have enabled family sharing.

If you download 1P5 from the AgileBits store the licence terms are:

Our software is licensed per person and per platform, not per device. Each user and each platform requires a license. Licenses can be shared by up to six family members living in the same household. Licenses can not be transfered or re-sold.

Note that if you want to use iCloud to sync your 1P data between your Mac and iOS devices you must buy from the Mac App Store. The AgileBits store version does not support iCloud sync. Both versions support sync of 1P data by Dropbox or local wifi.

Thank you very much for your quick reply...and an excellent answer. I appreciate your assistance. I'm off to the App Store, except it's down Apple system wide! Tomorrow.

    Hi @cepeterson,

I'm glad to see Stephen_C was able to help answer your questions  If you have any follow up questions please do ask and we'll see if we can beat him to your post

I believe in the end Apple's glitch was even more widespread than just the store and ended up affecting pretty much everything. I think what got many at the start was all the services were showing green for status despite clearly not working - that seemed to really rile some people up.
