Newly Purchased License Not Being Applied to 1Password 5

Hi I just bought my license and when I try to "add license" nothing happens.

    I am having the same problem. The email I received from Support was to copy my license key and past it somewhere after I went to 1Password/licnese. This is not an option, but rather 1password is looking for a license file on my computer. I have no idea where that may be. NEED HELP ASAP

    Both of you, I wonder what version of 1PW you are trying to use.

    @Jbronson1, if a license KEY is being mentioned, this refers to 1Password 3. 1Password 4 and 5 (5 for Yosemite only) need a license FILE. The same file works for 1PW4 and 1PW5. 1PW5 is a free upgrade from 1PW4, but 1PW4 is a paid upgrade from 1PW3.

    @jmsbtlr111, do you have a downloaded license file? If so, what happens when you double-click it. That should be enough. If it isn't, what happens when you try "add license"? If you aren't licensed, it should ask where the license file is. If you've already double-clicked the file, then you are licensed and "add license" would do nothing more.

    @danco Yep I have a downloaded license key file. When I double-clicked it, the 1password registration window didn't change from the trial period display to the registered display though.

    I am using 1Password V5.3.BETA-19
