I've tried to created a mult-page sign-in, but I can't seem to get the "Update existing Login in Primary Vault" to work. It is greyed out and not active. How can I make it active to select it? See attached, thanks!

    Hi @kalseim,

I can only think of a couple of reasons.

    1. The Login item for the first page is in a different vault. Is this a possibility, do you have multiple vaults or just the primary?
    2. If this isn't the case then whatever Login item was recorded for the first page, the URL must differ on the second as the update mechanism is based on the website field. If you copy and paste the URL stored in the Login item and then copy and paste the URL of the second page on the line below, how different are they?

Can either of these help explain why it doesn't seem to be working for you? If neither does, how would you feel about informing us of the site in question, maybe we can better understand what is happening by looking at the site.

Just to add, in some cases it can be that it isn't possible to get a single Login item to work on a multi-page login. That isn't what your issue is about but the reason I mention it is that sometimes you simply need to have two Login items, one for each page. Of course we'll work with you to understand why you aren't being offered to update an existing one first though.

Please do let us know how the two options relate (or not) to your situation.

Option 2 is the case. This is a bank login and yes the URL's are different. In order to find this out I deleted the 1Password login and started over. This is ok for now since this is the only login, I think, that has two different pages.

    Hi @kalseim,

Did the URLs differ significantly? Minor path changes I'd expect, just nothing so bad it would confuse 1Password in regards to updating.

Just so I make sure I'm not misunderstanding at all, have you found a solution that works for you at the moment? if we haven't we will of course keep working with you.
