Upgrade Trial Mac
I received your numerous spam online messages saying my OSX trial had expired and to please upgrade to support your company at a special St. Patricks Day price. I did try to buy 1Pass.
I followed your instructions to prepare to convert from the trial OSX version to the MAS version. I backed up data and deleted the 1pass app. That worked great and 1pass is deleted from the computer.
I followed your link to the Mac store contained in your spam messages, a process needed because for whatever reason your product sold on your website doesn't work with iCloud, and you therefore recommend the MAS version.
The MAS provides the IPAD/IPhone version but nothing about the OS X Yosemite version.
As a result I had to go back to Roboform. (which works okay, and I must admit that company never ran me through a run-around like this when I purchased it)
Apparently your business model provides no telephone support, no email support, and only forum support. I don't know where I went wrong, only that I was much better off before I tried to purchase the MAS 1Pass. I have no problems installing iPhone and iPad software or the OS X updates from the Mac store so it does work.

You are right that Agile does not provide phone support. It provides email support where necessary, but uses the forum as first line of contact as they find it works more efficiently - Agile people are constantly monitoring the forums, and will respond if necessary.
Apple confuses people by having two stores called App Store, one for Macs and one for iDevices. If you use the App Store program on your Mac you will be able to get 1PW for Mac.
Unfortunately, Apple does not allow products not from their App Store to use iCloud sync, hence the two versions. You could continue to use the version from Agile (buying a license, as you only have the trial version) and use Dropbox sync. Many users, including several AgileBits staff, are very happy with Dropbox, which does have some advantages. That's your decision, of course, others insist on using iCloud and not Dropbox.

Hi @mousey9,
I'm so sorry to hear that you're feeling frustrated here! I hope that @danco's answer has helped clear things up a bit. At this time, the forums are the quickest way to get an answer to your question. Our team is here, 7 days a week, and, as you can see, we have an awesome community of 1Password users who can often have you all sorted out all on their own.
I'll admit the whole 'Mac App Store'/'App Store' difference confused me for quite a while before I started working in the tech sector. Apple is awesome at a lot of things, but they do seem to be developing a rather repetitive habit with respect to naming things. For example, there are a handful of different technologies/services that fall under the 'iCloud' banner: CloudKit, iCloud Drive, iCloud (iOS 8), and iCloud (iOS 7) ... It's enough to make anyone think twice.
If you're looking for the desktop version of 1Password (with the option to sync using iCloud), you'll want to go to the Mac App Store.
The Pro Features for 1Password 5 for iOS can be found in the iOS App Store.
I really hope that you'll consider giving 1Password another shot. We're here to help if you have any questions!
