How to store Softwae Licenses
I am now migrating from a database I used prior to 1password. I had fields for my email I used to register the software, user name, link to the site I purchased It from and of course, the registration. I do not see a software registration template in 1password. What do 1password users use for this? I am brand new to 1password, I can try notes or try something else but It is better to start good habits from the start. Hopfully I am not the first to think of this and there is already template?

Hmm, no way to edit a post? Now I see there is such an option under "NEW". I Was not seeing It under the categories shown on the left side. Also, I came across a tutorial that said if I didn't use the basic categories on the left, when on my iPhone I would get charges for using the other categories? Anyone know what this means (did I Misunderstand)? Thanks again.

You can edit a post up until an hour after you post it, @levelbest. But not after that. I prevents spammers from posting a benign message and then returning after whatever attention it has gotten from moderators and altering into something inappropriate.
The available categories don't appear in the side bar when they are empty. Did you find the Software License category? I can't quite tell. Once you have a record in a category, you'll see it in the sidebar.
The categories are indeed limited in the free version of 1Password for iOS. Buying the Pro features actives the rest. Your data are all there, just not accessible without the Pro features.

Yes, I Now have It, thanks. I now see a small gear icon on my second post but the first post, still well with the hour, has no gear icon, no way to edit It.

When you want to edit the very first post in a thread, the gear icon you're looking for is above the post, not in it. Look directly across from the title. (Or at least I can see it there. I'm not sure whether all users can edit a first post within an hour or not.)
