1PW Button not Showing in Firefox 36.0.3 Tool Bar after Brower Extension Installation

I had to reset Firefox to defaults. I then added the 1PW 5.1 browser extension bu clicking the green button. I got all the messages as described on the help/installation page but the 1PW button did not show up in the browser tool bar. I went into the browser customization window and the 1PW icon isn't anywhere to be found, neither the key or lock icon. I'm stumped. It shouldn't be this difficult. I know its simple and will kick myself once its explained.

I searched the help files, user guide, forum topics and can't find any help for this. I have 1PW mini running but it's not as convenient as having the browser button. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

If you go to Firefox > Tools > Add-ons does the 1P extension show as installed?

Edit: two more ideas—try re-starting Firefox and/or re-booting your machine (assuming the 1P extension shows as installed in Firefox).

    Edit: corrected typo.

    Hi @lov2krz,

I'm sorry you're having trouble with that! It sounds like Stephen has already given some helpful advice for this. Hopefully that helps to solve the problem, but if not, please let us know if Tools > Add-ons shows the 1Password extension is installed. Thanks!

In Add-Ons it shows that the 1PW is installed and activated. I shut down Firefox and it still didn't show up. I do a restart and see what happens. I'll report back in about 5-10 minutes.

    Hi @lov2krz,

Did restarting your Mac help at all? Let us know if it's still a problem, and we'll be happy to continue working with you to get things sorted out. Thanks!
