I bought 1Password on the Mac App Store. Now I have got a windows machine and I want to use 1Password on it, but I do not seem to have a software license. Is there a way to get the license somehow form the App Store or do I have to buy it again for windows?

    The first thing to make clear is that 1P for Mac and 1P for Windows are completely separate products. In other words, if you need 1P for Windows you have to buy it. The cost of it has nothing to do with whether or not you have 1P for Mac.

    However, AgileBits will help you buy their discounted Mac/Windows bundle. Send an email to support+licenses @ agilebits.com with the following information:

    1. your full name;
    2. your full address;
    3. a copy of your Mac App Store receipt for 1P (or other evidence of payment for it);
    4. a request for a price for the Mac/Windows bundle;
    5. a link to this thread.

    You will receive an automatic response with a ticket number. Post that number in this thread, which will help AgileBits connect the two and speed the response.

    Just in case I've misunderstood and you don't still have your Mac (i.e., you want to swap your Mac licence for a Windows licence) in step 4 above simply ask for a price for the Windows version, saying you want to swap your Mac licence to a Windows one. I'm not sure what AgileBits' reaction will be to that but the company is often very helpful with things like that.
