If I buy 1P from the mac app store and upgrade the free iPhone 6 app to the pro version will I be able to use on all devices or will they always be two separate 1P´s. Will it store existing passwords as well as generate any new ones.
Sorry for the numpty question but I have yet to take the plunge.
I forgot to mention I have a late 2103 iMac, iphone 6 and iPad air first version.

Store and Generate password = yes

You would need to setup some type of syncing either iCloud since you are purchasing from the Mac App Store, Dropbox, or WiFi

@PortugalGS: Just to expand on what thightower said, 1Password is a separate purchase on each platform. The iOS version, for instance, is a free app with an in-app purchase for the Pro features, which you would be able to use on both your iPhone and iPad with a single purchase (provided you are using the same Apple ID on both); 1Password for Mac has a free trial if you download it from our site.

Regarding sync, iCloud Sync is available in the Mac App Store version of 1Password 5 running on OS X Yosemite and 1Password 5 on iOS 8. Dropbox Sync, however, is supported in almost every version of 1Password across all platforms (Windows, OS X, iOS, Android), so that is a bit more flexible.

What you store in 1Password is entirely up to you. You can save your current logins with it and then update them in the future as well, along with credit cards, software licenses, etc.

Probably a good place to start is to just download the free trial on your Mac and check out our knowledgebase. And be sure to let us know if you have any questions! :)
