You have OS X 10.9.5. The application requires OS X 10.10 or later.

**I am getting this message when trying to install password1 - Is there an option to get Password1 for MAC OSX 10.9.5?

Thanks, barry **

Are you trying to download from the AgileBits store (as opposed to the Mac App Store)? The latter should offer you the version suited to your OS. If you need 1P4 from the AgileBits store go to this link and look towards the bottom of the page for the appropriate download.

Edit: I have deleted your duplicate post.

    Hi Barry ( @bkellett ),

Please let me know if Stephen's suggestions helped! If you're still having trouble, please let us know where you originally purchased 1Password so we can better advise you. ;)

I thought, from other discussions on the forum and not from any precise knowledge, that the App Store did not work like that.

The method for the App Store had to be to find someone running Yosemite, buy 1PW on their machine using your Apple ID. Then on your own machine log in to the App Store with your Apple ID, and only then will 1PW4 be available.

    Hello Barry ( @bkellett ),

I can see from the subject line that you're attempting to download 1Password 5 from our website (because 1Password from the Mac App Store is called 1Password.app, rather than 1Password 5.app), so you're very close. You just need 1Password 4.4.3, from the Legacy section at the bottom the downloads page that @Stephen_C linked to.

Here is the user guide for 1Password 4 to get you started. Feel free to post here with any more questions you may have.
