1Password Mac sync and use with 1Password on ipad
I have just downloaded and paid for 1Password 5 for Mac from the Mac App Store. I have been using 1Password on ipad, IOS 8.2. I want the data to be synced between the two. I am having problems with getting things set-up on the Mac (running Yosemite 10.10.2).
When I open 1Password 5 for Mac, it recognizes data in the cloud. It tells me type in the Master password - type it in - I type it in and it tells me the vault name is already used, create a new vault. If I create a new vault, can I still sync with the ipad?

So I have 1Password on my ipad and have been using it. I have a Mac, using Yosemite 10.10.2. I bought 1Password from the Mac App store. Now I want to get the ipad data and Mac data in sync. I open 1Passowrd5 and it says data found in the icloud. I type in my master password as requested, and I get the message "vault with name default already exists. Please choose a different vault name." Can someone help me figure out what I am supposed to do?

Hi @mvivien ,
I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble getting sync set up! Let's see if we can get this sorted out:
So, you've got 1Password 5 for iOS on your iOS device, synced up with iCloud. You'll want to make sure that you are logged in to the same iCloud account on both devices (if you're like me and have somehow collected several, things could get tangled up here.)
In 1Password for Mac, unlock your vault and go to Preferences > Sync. You should be able to select iCloud from the dropdown list and 1Password will offer to merge the data in iCloud with any existing data in your vault on your Mac.
Does this help? If not, please let me know where you're getting stuck, and we'll work forward from there. (Please note, that the more detailed you're able to be, the more quickly we'll be able to get this straightened out!)
