Starting Over from Scratch

I have lost all of my passwords and most of the files from 1Password and would like to start over. In reviewing the Starting Over instructions it appears that I have file versions from both the Mac App Store and the Agile Bits Store. What is the best way to remove all instances of 1Password from my laptop, then do a fresh install?

    You will have noted in the Starting Over guide that there are instructions for removing both version of 1Password completely so you can start over. If you have both the AgileBits web store version and the Mac App Store version installed, I'd recommend that you follow both sets of instructions.

    Hi @Alanl12,

    I agree with hawkmoth, go ahead and follow both sets of instructions in this starting over article for 1Password 5 for Mac. I'd also suggest making sure you don't have any extra copies of the 1Password app hiding in your Downloads folder. And just holler if you run into any trouble along the way; we're here for you!
