Save passwords for Desktop application?

Rusted on Roboform user here defecting to 1Password!.
All going well, but missing RF's ability to remember logins for desktop apps.
Eg: I have an on-line game, (URU-LIVE) that when you launch the local exe for it, (that's how it works)
asks for a user / pass before it actually connects to the Internet.
RF automatically attaches a little box to the local login window and offers to save (and then fill in for the future)
In fact any situation on your desktop PC where a login / pass is required can be saved.
Can't see how 1Password can do this yet.
If it can, my defection to the dark side will be complete!

thanks

@geoffree: 1Password doesn't hook itself into other applications for security (and stability) reasons, only web browsers that provide extension frameworks. But you may be able to create an app login (which uses the Auto-type feature).

I'm not familiar with this game in particular, but Auto-type works with standard Windows apps. If it's freely downloadable, give me a link and I can test it myself if you run into any issues.

I hope this helps. Let me know how it turns out! :)

    Thanks Brenty.
I will explore your suggestion thanks
(Or perhaps I can continue to run RF in the background but with just those app passwords activated)
    thanks again
