iCloud sync within the safari extension

I haven't found any mention of this limitation, but the safari extension doesn't seem to be able to sync to or from iCloud. For example:

1. Open safari
2. Open the 1password safari extension
3. Create a login for a site
4. Look for the login on another device, you can't find it
5. Open the 1password iOS app, new login now syncs to iCloud.

You can also create a new login on another device and in step 3 attempt to use it without opening the iOS app. The data isn't synced from iCloud.

Thanks for taking the time to write in. Your findings are accurate: the extension doesn't sync. We don't even attempt to do so. In many cases the extension doesn't "live" long enough to initiate and complete a sync, and also we don't want to slow down the responsiveness of the extension by adding additional tasks to it.

If the landscape changes in the future we may be able to re-evaluate this behavior, but at the moment it isn't really practical to have the extension sync.
