warn before deleting

Lots of passwords I can reset through my email... Some passwords are so important they should never be lost though. For example - that email password. Other things too.

Is there a way to flag certain items to warn me, or make it more difficult to move them to the trash?

    Hi ja*ashh,

    There is no way to do this. But if you think about it, that's what the trash is all about. Items are not deleted immediately, there is always the chance to retrieve a mistakenly deleted item from the trash.

    If you want to be extra safe, here are some things you can do:

    • resist the urge to immediately empty the trash
    • make a duplicate item, so if you delete one you have another
    • keep regular backups of your 1Password database (check Preferences > Backup)
