Upgraded from Firefox 37.7.esr can't find old data file to update to 1Password 4
Was running Firefox ESR 38.7.1 on my macBook Pro and my newer IMac—both have 1Password 3.8.21 installed and synced. IMac went into Apple for service and they allowed the Firefox 45.0.1 to install— now, no more 1password showing in the Firefox browser on the IMac. Decided to upgrade both machines to the latest version of 1Password 4 but can not find how to preserve the original data on the IMac now that the Firefox has updated. Need to know how to proceed with the update for both machines, import the original data set from the 1Password and then sync them and .....do not want to lose any data I already have... How do I best proceed, download update first?? Preserve data??? Is the data on the updated IMac lost??
1Password Version: 3.8.21
Extension Version: do not know where to find
OS Version: 10.10.5
Sync Type: icloud- ithink...

@rick_dehoff: The old 1Password extensions are not compatible with the current version of Firefox. But so long as your data is in your vault in the main 1Password app there's no need to worry. Just make sure you're using the latest version of 1Password and then install the latest browser extension.
If you don't already have the appropriate license, 1Password 6 is a paid upgrade from 1Password 3. But you can get a discount using your existing license in the AgileBits Store. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
