can I get a phone number to talk to someone?
some how one password is asking me where my vault is? why? I didn't change anything! Now I can't find the dropbox vault file and I am going crazy with not a whole lot of time to waste on this. someone please call me ASAP for support [Edit: phone number removed by AgileBits]

I hope you don't mind, I've removed your phone number from your post to protect your privacy, as this is a public forum and we don't want you getting phone calls from strangers! :)
We don't currently have a phone number to call for support, as we are a small and distributed team. Forums and email tend to be our most effective support channels. But we need more information about what's happening before we can help you fix it. To this end, I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your Mac:
Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)
Please attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com. In the email, please give as much detail as you can about the problem you're experiencing, including any error message you're seeing and any steps you've taken to attempt to fix it. Please also include a link to this thread in your email so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
You should then receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that this issue is dealt with quickly. :)
Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you, and we'll reply to your email ASAP with next steps. Thanks very much!

Actually I didn't get much of an answer from you guys so I wasted another two hours last night and figured out what was wrong. My 1 Password data files are stored on Dropbox, therefore in order to select that on a desktop version of 1 Password installation one has to have a LOCAL synced version of that file as the 1Password installer won't let you choose a cloud based file. Wow, there went four hours of my day!

I’m so sorry to hear that we didn’t get to you in time to be of assistance! We do our best to reply to all queries as quickly as possible, as Virginia says, but I can see how that process must have been a bit frustrating for you.

It’s true that you do need to have Dropbox installed and running on the computer that you’re setting up with 1Password so that your 1Password data is accessible to the app.
