Usability improvements for creating new login

I've always been confused about the many clicks/keystrokes you have to go through to create a new login... The number two thing I do most (number one is entering/looking up passwords) is creating a new login! For that you can do Cmd-N, but then you have to press the down key 8 times! Why not put this on top of the list? It's not like I create a database or Outdoor license every day!
Then when filling in the information, the tab-key will go to the star and export icons... Why would I want to do that? The tab should go straight from the name field to the username field.
Hope you can improve this in a next version.

@sjoerdsmink Cmd-N; pause; tap "L"; then Enter and you at the new login window. HTH

    Ok, that helps, thanks @vplewis
But why not just put it on top of the list? It just doesn't make sense...

  • Hi @sjoerdsmink,

You are correct, it doesn't make sense from a keyboard standpoint. It is optimized for mouse/readability. The most common are in a group closest to the mouse cursor, but reading from top to bottom within the group. We can certainly revisit this though. Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention!

    Cheers,
    Kevin
