British spelling of "Favourites"
I have just started a month's trial of 1Password. I have been using the stand-alone program in Windows 10 and the web-based interface via Edge to get a general feel. I am currently reserving judgement overall, but at the moment I am trying to find a way to have the British spelling of "favourites" display instead of "favorites". At the moment both the stand-alone program and the web-based interface display "favorites". In Windows 10 my "Country or region" setting is United Kingdom and my "Language" setting is English (United Kingdom). I was expecting 1Password to use these settings and therefore to display the British spelling of "favourites". Alas, for me at least, this is not the case. I have tried re-booting etc., but to no avail. I wonder if anyone could help please?

@Peter_Jones thank you for sharing your feelings with us. At the moment 1Password does not support localisation, however we are few more steps closer to it today than we were yesterday - there is work being done to localize all the things. We have someone from UK in our team, I'll make sure proper person will get to review proper spelling ;)

Many thanks @SergeyTheAgile for your swift response. I presume when you say "At the moment 1Password does not support localisation..." this is in Windows, as I have seen several Mac screenshots on the 1Password website that show the spelling as "Favourites".

Thanks @peter_jones, as Sergey says, localisation is something we are currently working on for windows. There is quite a lot to it more than we probably appreciate, but it essentially boils down to the Mac version being around much longer and having more development under its hood. It is something we are getting frequently requested as you can well imagine, not just because seeing missing u’s and those pesky Z’s appearing where we know they should not, but because we have customers across many, many countries. And this is something we are working hard on.So, please forgive us for needing to use US-English, multi-language support is on its way!

Easiest solution, if you're not already doing this, would be to create an XML schema and then allow people to upload their own customisations.
By having defined fields and labels in 1Password anybody can then contribute to localising 1Password without the need for hard-coded defaults.

There are some other stumbling blocks on our way to localisation support in 1Password for Windows, but thank you for your suggestion! :+1:
Right now we are using Crowdin to translate 1Password apps, so everyone can participate. However, as I've mentioned above, a project for 1Password on Windows is not available at the moment. We are working on it! :chuffed:
