1pw will not load on my laptop (Windows 7 Professional)

Whenever I try to open 1 pw (v. 7.2.581), Extension 4.3.7.90) on my 4-year old Lennova laptop, I get a window opened, with the message:
1password for Windows desktop has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Please Close the program
This problem only recently arose after the following actions (which may or may not be causative)—I list them to be as through as possible:
1) My auto payment of annual charge was not processed because of a new credit card failure.Within three hours that problem was resolved.
2) Changes were made to network settings on laptop in order to comply with 2FA requirements.
3) In order to be able to “Remote Desktop” into the desktop from the laptop, a card was provided and set up to generate a code for 2FA
4) Norton software that Comcast subscribers can download and install free was deleted and Microsoft Security Essentials was installed as a replacement
5) I cannot produce a Diagnostic Report from the laptop because 1pw never gets loaded, thus I cannot access the menu bar that invokes the diagnostics.

Every time I click on the 1pw icon, the window pops up and remains until I close the message box. The window then pops up every time I close the popup window containing the error message.

I am afraid to uninstall 1pw on the laptop for fear that I will lose all data and thus no longer be able to access my passwords from the desktop or other devices.

I have spent hours on this issue with no success and am ready to request my annual membership be cancelled. I am further frustrated with the absence of an instruction manual and the inability to talk with a trouble shooter.

Uninstalling 1Password does not touch or remove your 1Password data, you can always reinstall 1Password.

This one sounds like you may not have the latest .NET version installed that 1Password needs but we'll explain in the email soon.
