Hi @Waterside, the classic extension was built for the 1Password 7 app. It does not work and will not be supported in 1Password 8. To save and fill with 1Password 8, you'll need the newer standalone extension: https://support.1password.com/getting-started-browser/
I'm curious, did you use the standalone extension with 1Password 7? Is that where you saw issues with syncing? If so, I'm happy to let you know that we've made updates to the standalone extension and 1Password 8 so that they can connect better. I recommend using the standalone extension with 1Password 8, and if you run into any issues, please let us know. We're here to help with anything that comes up.
