2 years agoWhy do I need a separate standalone app for the browser only in addition to the separate standalone desktop app? This is pointless and needless clutter and bloat. What happened with keeping things simple as in the past?
Chrome and Firefox both work with their plugins (no separate app needed), but for safari I am force to install extra wasteful bloat?
The integrated browser extension worked well with 1PW7 and was very efficient and consistent. No the standalone browser and and standalone desktop app did not always work well together so I abandoned it (It had no value for me anyway) I am trying the standalone app for the browser now with 1PW8 since I have no other choice.
Sadly this is just one of many items I have found with 1PW8 where existing usability and efficiency features have been removed. At this point I don't think I will be continuing with 1PW in its current state. As one that has used 1PW since v3 this is a huge disappointment.
To add: I was going to leave aside the above noted discrepancy between the standalone desktop app and standalone browser app, but it really is yet another example of the poor user experience forced on us with 1PW8. I really don't understand the reason so much usability and efficiency was removed, when it should be a goal to improve on these.
